I’m increasingly worried by all the people on my dash calling themselves insane for loving stories in the way humans have loved stories our whole history. “The brain rot is spreading” — you mean you were changed by art? “I’m not normal about this” — you were moved by it? You felt human emotions about it? “I’m about to be so annoying” — you’re going to talk about art? You’re going to be passionate? You’re going to think deeply about it? You’re going to feel love for the work of someone’s soul? You are not a consumer and art is not a product to be casually used! You are a human and stories are the beating heart of our humanity! You must feel everything and you must know that it is normal!

normally we do not post images so horrible but this is a direct request from palestinians not to look away. this is what they’re speaking from. this is what we’re letting happen. this will never be forgiven.
palestine and the gaza strip is currently actively a slaughterhouse. two million people starved and bombed and killed every passing hour while the world takes the easy way out and parrots blatant propaganda dished out by the oppressors and the governments backing them and shared by celebrities in support of said oppressors. out of the two million people, a million are children. you have no excuse of ignorance to look away. “no electricity, no food, no fuel”. no hospitals no medical supplies. residential buildings flattened with west sponsored missiles. out of the two million people in the gaza strip, one million are children. no electricity. no food. no fuel. no way out.
